Many years ago on a cold and snowy New Year's Eve, a poor little girl was wandering arround on the street.

Many people were crying.

They were sad to see that the little match girl had died.

But if they had looked a little more carefully, they would have seen a warm smile on her face.

The little match girl had gone to spend her New Year's Day in a much better place with her grand mom.
