• Agile 中 IM (Iteration Manager)中的定义和角色


             随着公司Agile 和 DevOps 工作的深入展开,在一个team squad 中出现了更加清晰的角色,在众多角色中我们出现了一个IM 的角色 ,本期文章我们探讨下 IM 在一个乃至多个squad 中的定位和作用,是否能够为项目更好的迭代和运营提供支持以及质量保证,同时也能够team member 在有限的时间内做完分派的内务而同时也能保证有一定的时间继续提高技术和业务技能。


    作为IM的重要职能

    Facilitate squad discussions

    Reiterate the Agile Team Tool exists as an asset for continuouts imporvment

    Review itertion results as part of iteration retrospectives

    Encourage squads to use Agile Team Tool in app guidance and help guides

    Empower squads to use the community forum to answer their questions

    Guide squads in adopting new Agile Team Tool features

    As new measures are published ,squads are not required to enter historical data


    Some others important

    Check story stauts in every Iteration in time


    同时 IM  需要定期的参加一些会议 ,跟其他IM做沟通和知识分享。


    同时在每个iteration结束的最后一天 需要做回顾 --retrospective

    review iteration data ; plan commit or  delivery points ,并记录下那些没有结束

    跟squad member  讨论下 good  bad  improve from these aspects

    Education:Bachelor-Master

    degreePosition: Project manager/ Agile Iteration manager

    Responsibilities: Responsible for running Agile rituals i.e. Feature elaboration/Estimation, daily stand ups, release planning, Iteration Planning Meeting, Retrospective, Showcase, etc

    Managing a distributed Agile development team in Xi’an and Sydney Responsible in ensuring that development process are strictly followed and projects delivered on timeOngoing coaching, training and mentoring to improve process competencies across multiple agile teams in different locationsPart of the IM Community of Practice to standardise and improve the Agile process across teams Making sure that team has defined goal for iteration and all team member are concerned in the iteration’s tasksIteration management – ensuring that the development tasks are on schedule and are included and prioritised correctly for each release and iterationFollowing up projects completion – keeping constant communication open with the team on how the iteration is planned and tracked Day-to-day communication with the team and customers from different locations to finds and remove roadblocksInforming Clients and stakeholders about progress and potential riskProtects team from outside distractions. Avoiding noise and reacting on it if necessary’Regular catchups and reviews with clients to get Skill Requirements:Must have: 3+ years experienced in IT service industry as project managers or iteration managersGlobal IT enterprise working experienceProfessional English skills (Written and Speaking)Open minded, be able to provide and obtain feedback to team and clientsExcellent Leadership and communication skillsBe able to travel overseas occasionallyNice to have:Account management/ sales experience Overseas working experience Onsite working experience with clientsFamiliar with Agile and lean development processMobile Apps projects experience
