- Now Oxygen Connection Wizard, Device Extraction Wizard and Backup Extraction Wizard are all integrated into one built-in application - Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor, which can be run from any section of the program.
- Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor. Significantly improved and accelerated application start.
- Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor. Considerably redesigned interface with the accompanying description on each program step with connection tips in a case of an unsuccessful connection of the device.
- Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor. The updated device detection method now includes two modes: auto device detection and manual device selection. Auto mode allows auto finding the device attached via cable. Manual mode gives a selection of device models and connection types available for them.
- Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor. Added ability to find passwords for non-jailbroken iOS devices and iTunes backups using Passware Forensic Kit software. Passware Kit Forensic software must be installed on a PC with Oxygen Forensic Suite.
- Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor. Added ability to upload Android OS 4.x *.ab backups created with the help of ADB. Encrypted backups with the known password are also supported. Upload of the backup file gives an access to Phonebook, Messages, Calendar, Event Log, File Browser, Applications list, Skype etc.
- Oxygen Forensic (tm) Extractor. Added ability to import encrypted DMG image with the known password created by .XRY.
- Added support for Apple iOS 6.1 and 6.1.2 devices.

- Added preliminary support for Windows Phone 8 devices. Now convenient extraction method is available for all media content from the devices together with Microsoft Office documents and photos geo-data.
- Added support for 200+ new devices including Alcatel One Touch OT-992D, Pantech P9090, Samsung GT-B9388, Sony Mobile Xperia E C1505, ZTE V790, etc. The new release boosts the number of supported models to more than 6500.
- Timeline, Communication Statistics. Added chart displaying all the activity of the suspect for the whole period of the device usage. The chart allows grouping events over different time intervals (from one year to the second) and filtering them by various parameters (events, contacts, time intervals). Now forensic experts can easily analyze detailed activity of one or a group of contacts within any period of time.
