stardict——
工具：stardict-editor.exe
使用方法：把stardict-editor.exe复制到C:Program FilesCommon FilesGTK2.0in目录下运行。
特点：可反编译stardict格式，babylon格式。
格式要求：只用一个tab符，换行用
。文中莫名的会产生错误。可转换babylon多词头的格式为stardict格式。
babylon——
工具：BabylonGlossaryBuilderSetup.msi或者babylon_corporate_builder_v2268.exe(不支持Unicode)
使用方法：基于.NET的程序安装
特点：支持HTML语法，可引用外部字体，设置字体大小。多词头。来自于网页的词典采用babylon转制甚易，可保留绝大多数格式。
格式要求：词头与释义分列两行，释义可以多行。词头的不同形式用|隔开。不同词条之间用空行隔开。词义内部支持大部分HTML标记。

lingvo——
工具：dsl格式无须专门工具，支持UTF-16LE的编辑器即可。编译为lsd须用Dslcomp.exe实现。Dslcomp.exe亦可反编译lsd为dsl。
使用方法：Dslcomp.exe绿化版可能无法正常使用，可以先最小安装ABBYY_Lingvo_12.exe。
特点：可以多个词头。类似HTML的标记放入[]中。
格式要求：词头隔行加tab符，然后接释义，释义可以多行。
主要标记举要：

[i], [/i] - italics
[u], [/u] - underlined font
[c], [/c] - coloured (highlighted) font（颜色可以使用IE支持的英文颜色名称，格式如[c darkred],[/c]）
[*], [/*] - the text between these tags is only displayed in full translation mode (see)
[mN] - sets the left paragraph margin. N is the number of spaces which will be used for the left-hand margin. N can be within the range from 0 to 9. The corresponding closing tag of the paragraph is [/m]. and left card margin.
[trn], [/trn] - translations zone.
[ex], [/ex] - examples zone.
[com], [/com] - comments zone.
[s],[/s] - multimedia zone (used to add pictures or sound files into a dictionary entries ).
[url],[/url] - link to a Web page.
[!trs], [/!trs] - the text between these tags will not be indexed
[p], [/p] - labels (clicking a label displays its full text)
[lang][/lang] - the language of the word or phrase....
[ref][/ref] - hyperlink to a card in the same dictionary (You can also use "<<" and ">>" to enclose the headword of the card to make a link).
