一致性测试
A Conformance test consists（由……组成） of verifying the device's behavior in correspondence（一致；相当；通信；） with the standards,conventions（约定，惯例）,rules.
功能测试
A Functional test consists of verifying that the device does everthing it is supposed to do (i.e., protocol support, filters , management, etc.).
性能测试
A Performance test consists of " stress testing" the device to see how it behaves under loaded conditions.
A Passive test consists of Protocol analysis. This can be accomplished either intrusively（干扰地，侵入地） or non-intrusively.

基准测试（Benchmark Test,BMT）,指通过设计科学的测试方法、测试工具和测试系统，实现对一类测试对象的某项性能指标的定量的、可对比的测试。
可测试、可重复、可对比是基准测试的三大特点。对于一款软件或设备，其相关特性的基准数据建立以后，在软件或系统版本更新后，可以测试新的基准数据和以前版本的数据做比较，以保证版本质量不会回退。对于相同的应用，基准为不同厂商的平台或产品也提供了性能的可以比性。
