Some definitions:
System Vision Document: A Vision Document is a document that describes a compelling idea or values or future state for a particular organization, product or service. So a System Vision Document is a Vision Document related to the software or maybe sth about computer system.
Use Case Survey:Use case survey is a list of names and perhaps brief descriptions of use cases associated with a system, component, or other logical or physical entity. This artifact is short and inexpensive to produce early in the analysis or envisioning stages of a software development project.
Supplemental Specification:The Supplementary Specification provides an overview of the entire document. It includes the purpose, scope, definitions, acronyms, abbreviations, references, and overview of this Supplementary Specification. It also captures the system requirements that are not readily captured in the use cases of the use-case model.
Steel Thread: A software engineering constuct that indicates the most important path(s) of execution in a computer system. The focus is on core usage or basic behaviour of the system.
