Description:
We shall describe a new method to analyze space-time Fourier series with applications to the nonlinear Schroedinger equations on the torus. This method uses some classical algebraic geometry and we shall suggest that it could be useful to some other equations as well.
Prerequisite:
Basic knowledge of Fourier analysis, prior familiarity with nonlinear Schroedinger equations is useful but not neccesary. Some elementary concepts from dynamical systems could be helpful.
