This is my first time install msi file, i double click the msi file, it always show this dialog.
At first, i think it is the install panel, but after click ok and nothing happen. I read the words and think it maybe some installer for msi file which can be recognized by windows. "D:/software\pogaming software" is the place i alway download programing software to, obviously i am installing sth about coding. Then I try this commands but it still open this dialog.
Then i look for some info from web, they also use "msiexec /package" or "msiexec /i" .Then i wonder what is the problem. Then a thought flash to my mind, is any problem with the hard drive, after all msi is special file format. Then i move it to disck C, problem solved. And now ,i remember a video tells me to move file to disk C, i just believe it only works for convinience and i am wrong.
Above all:
1. Move msi file to disck C (Make sure you have install Windows Installer).
2. Run "msiexec /package C:\fileName.msi" in cmd.
