    Dolby Atmos for games adapts the premier cinema sound experience. It creates powerful, moving audio, taking the spatial information from audio objects created for the game and renders them in three-dimensional space over headphones. Game play is far more engaging and realistic. Sounds can come from any direction, including overhead, to create a complete environment and put you deeper into the game. Sounds flow perfectly with the action, and discrete sounds are precisely placed within each scene. Aircraft buzz above you, footsteps creep up from behind, and you’ll be able to locate opponents by sound.

    Wwise从2015版本开始支持杜比的一系列插件(需要Dolby LULA)。这些插件能将杜比全景声输出为从比特流到HDMI等格式,或者渲染为杜比耳机全景声。两种方法目前都需要将杜比全景声构建(built into)到游戏中。你需要做一些更进一步的集成工作,来在你的游戏中实现杜比全景声,这样才能保证正确的元数据和API的使用。

    Dolby Atmos is supported in Wwise versions 2015 and 2016 via a set of Dolby Plugins. (Dolby LULA Required).  These plugins allow for Dolby Atmos output via Bitstream over HDMI or Dolby Atmos Headphone rendering.  Both methods require Dolby Atmos to be built into the game at this time. Some further integration will be required to implement Dolby Atmos in your game in order to support the proper metadata and API functions.

    FMOD version 1.08 (or later) includes a plugin that supports Dolby Atmos output using MAT over HDMI. There is also a plugin available from Dolby for headphone support. Some further integration will be required to implement Dolby Atmos in your game in order to support the proper metadata and API functions.

    PS4和PS4支持些什么杜比技术?What technology do the PS3 and PS4 support?

    PS3和PS4支持杜比数字音频。游戏结尾字幕表中的杜比图标代表了对杜比数字5.1的支持,这能将家庭影院系统物尽其用。

    The PlayStation® 3 and PlayStation 4 (PS3™/PS4™) are able to support Dolby® Digital audio during game play. The Dolby logo on the back of the games indicate support for Dolby Digital 5.1, which will make the most of a home theater system.

    Xbox 360和Xbox One支持些什么杜比技术?What technology do the Xbox 360 and Xbox One Support?

    Xbox 360 和Xbox One都支持杜比数字音频。游戏结尾字幕表中的杜比图标代表这能将家庭影院系统物尽其用。

    The Xbox® 360® and Xbox One support Dolby® Digital audio during game play. The Dolby Digital logo on the back of an Xbox 360 game indicates that the game will make the most of a home theater system.

    Additionally, The entire family of Xbox One devices support Dolby Atmos by leveraging Windows Sonic Spatial Audio.

    Yes. Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos is fully backwards compatible with Dolby Digital Plus. All Dolby Digital Plus decoders are able to output a 5.1 or stereo audio presentation when receiving a Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos stream.

    杜比AC-4和杜比全景声是一个东西么?Is Dolby AC-4 the same as Dolby Atmos?

    杜比AC-4和杜比全景声并不相同,因为这两种说法是在表述音频的不同方面。杜比AC-4描述的是潜在的音频技术,包括音频压缩技术、元数据支持和系统等方面。而杜比全景声描述的是杜比沉浸式音频体验,而这种音频体验可以由多种杜比音频技术达成,比如杜比AC-4和杜比数字+。杜比全景声可以被视为传统的“环绕声”概念的逻辑延伸。杜比AC-4则是杜比数字+和杜比数字等技术的继任者。

    Dolby AC-4 and Dolby Atmos are not the same as the two terms are describing different aspects of audio delivery. Dolby AC-4 describes the underlying audio technology including the audio compression technology, metadata support and system aspects. Dolby Atmos describes Dolby's immersive audio experience that can be delivered by multiple Dolby audio technologies including Dolby AC-4 and Dolby Digital Plus. Dolby Atmos can be viewed as the next logical step beyond traditional surround sound. Dolby AC-4 is the natural successor to Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital.
