1. 使用连接词，让句子上下连贯

    

   句子要构成篇章，就需要通过一定的连接词合乎逻辑的联系起来。连接词是指在论文中用来说明上下句或前后句两个意思之间关系的词或词组。连接词通常用于开篇，引出扩展句；也可用于句中，尤其是用于较长的复杂句子中，以作为上下文的纽带；还可用于文末或段末，用于总结上文或结束本段内容。有了适当的转折词和连接词能使句与句之间脉络清晰、条理自然、逻辑性强，帮助读者理解论文的思路。常见的转折词和连接词可以用来表示：

    

   1）平行或递进关系：

   and; furthermore;

   also; in addition(to);

   as well(as); likewise;

   at the same time; moreover;

   besides; similarly;

   both … and …; still;

    

   2）转折关系：

   although; otherwise;

   but; to the opposite;

   however; while;

   nevertheless; yet;

   on the contrary

    

   3）目的或因果关系：

   as; since;

   as a result; so;

   because(of); so…that …;

   consequently; such…that…;

   due to; therefore;

   for; thus;

   now that;

    

   4）举例关系：

   For example; for another;

   For instance; such as;

   For one thing;

    

   5）层次、顺序关系：

   first, second, third, last

   firstly, secondly, thirdly, finally(不推荐)

   the first, the second, the third, the last

   in the first place, in the second place, in the third place, lastly

   to begin with, then, furthermore, finally

   to start with, next, in addition, finally

   first and foremost, besides, last but not least

   most important of all, moreover, finally

   on the one hand, on the other hand(适用于两点的情况)

    

   6）解释说明关系：

   in other words

   that is

    

   7）归纳、总结：

   as a result; on the whole;

   briefly; to sum up;

   in a word; in summary;

   in brief; collectively;

   in short; taken together

   注意段落布局的整体逻辑

    

   经常我们要叙述一个问题的几个方面。在这种情况下，一定要注意文章整体的逻辑结构。

    

   第一段要明确告诉读者你要讨论几个部份……Therefore， there are three aspects of this problem have to be addressed. The first question involves……The second problem relates to……The third aspect deals with……清晰地把观点逐层叙述。也可以直接用First， Second， Third， Finally……当然，Furthermore， in addition等可以用来补充说明。

    

   通过提升语言逻辑，让论文的语言表达更加清楚明了，这对于成功发表SCI论文是非常有帮助的，论文作者要十分注重语言表达这一块，平时要注意提高自己的英文水平。
